KALEVALA Kosmos earrings MONKI knit After a long week of work and a bad day off I felt like rewarding myself somehow. And since jewellery was on my mind thanks to the inventory I did earlier, I couldn't come up with anything else than continuing on that path. These quite modern (not the typical Kalevala-style) Kosmos earrings were a real find. They made my day a little bit better.
I did some treasure hunting in my old jewellery box the other day and found these beauties that used to be my great-grandmother's. It's a good thing I never throw anything really-really old away. However, an inventory on my jewellery was well needed. I'll have to do the same thing for my closet as well.

New month, new Finnish fashion post. And the first one about accessories. The modern Helsinki-based brim hat brand éN was launched only a few months ago, in August. The hats are all unique and hand-made with an unfinished brim that makes them recognisable and distinctive. Thanks to different heights, brims and colours - they go for both men and women and for every style imaginable. A good hat can be a real life saver in case of a bad hair day. sunny weather or just a boring outfit. Some delicious new colours coming for spring, stay tuned.
Already that time of the year when all my coats, even the thickest ones, seems to not be enough. Maybe it's the early mornings and tiredness that could have something to do with why I'm freezing my ass off whatever I'm wearing. But yeah, loafers are now going away for the winter and some serious layering has to happen. I'm even considering getting myself a huge puffer jacket that I could wrap myself in on cold mornings. We'll see.
ZARA dress H&M earrings ZARA trousers
One of my favorite vintage treasures got back in action last Friday night at the Blog Awards Finland. I could basically have worn a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with it and still it would have looked party appropriate. You will NEVER see me wearing a princess dress, no matter how fancy the occasion would be. And to be honest with you, I wore this same blazer matched with the same lace dress three years back at Gloria Blog Awards where I won my first blog prize ever. Never wear the same outfit twice is not how I'm living my life. If something works, it works.
ZARA ankle boots Trying to upgrade my shoe collection a little, every year I notice that there's just one pair that I'm constantly wearing. Since Zara's shoes really fit me like a glove (or should I say sock) I knew where to find that go-to pair for this fall. It doesn't show in this picture, but they have a triangle shaped golden heel. Screamed my name.
When I can't decide what to wear I like to go for a little bit of everything. In this case masculine meets feminine, linen meets patent leather and crazy print meets pinstripes. Somehow it still works and feels right.
