I'm wearing: MONKI coats H&M sandals MARIMEKKO everything else Even though my photos have started to be more and more editorial style (thanks to my amazing photographers), it would be nice to do something extra special every now and then. So, I started a new project. Like my monthly Finnish fashion posts wouldn't be enough, a new editorial will be up every new season starting from this fall. It will be exciting to challenge myself some more in both styling and modelling. Hope you like this idea!
Here's an exclusive sneak peek of Marimekko's fall/winter campaign that I got to share with you. The amazingly beautiful photos are taken by Zoe Ghertner.
This month's Finnish fashion brand is definitely the best known so far. A brand that has always been special for us Finns and one that we have all grown up with. This FW16 collection is the second one for Anna Teurnell as the creative director and she continues on creating something new but still recognisable for Marimekko. This fall she took Marimekko back to the 70's and I'm liking it.That green quilted tunic with light pink flowers was my favorite as well as the Louhi choker seen on the first photo.
Here's what I wore on Tuesday for Match Made in HEL - a fashion show on Helsinki Airport on a real runway. It was really an unforgettable evening with the most perfect weather and a very special venue. I'm so happy and thankful that I got to see it live.
Oh and if you want to see some more from the Finnish fashion week, just head over to my Instagram (@fashionworries).
A busy week ahead, the unofficial Finnish fashionweek is now on. I really hope I have some time to shoot this week's outfits too because they're going to be good.
LOVE the new ready-to-wear collection! All the prints look so fresh, especially the new stripe print (pants on the 6th photo) called the notebook stripe. These photos make me want to skip summer before it has even started.
